EDU 6430 Improving Pedagogy and Practice for Teaching English Learners 3.0 Credits
This is the capstone course for the ESL specialist program at Drexel. In this course, candidates for the ESL program specialist credential integrate their learning in the prior core courses into an action research project with the purpose of improving instructional practices in working with English Learners. For their projects, students will receive mentoring and guidance from an ESL specialist. Candidates will also develop a teaching portfolio that documents their growth during the ESL Specialist program.
