EDU 8010 Cities as Learning Ecosystems 3.0 Credits
This course examines how learning occurs across interconnected urban spaces, including schools, community organizations, cultural institutions, and public environments. Focuses on how educators, families, and community partners create networks that support youth learning and development. Explores how relationships, resources, and place influence access to learning opportunities. Introduces approaches to mapping and analyzing learning across formal and informal contexts. Prepares students to understand cities as dynamic learning systems and to design strategies that strengthen connections across learning environments.
