EDU 8210 Educator Learning and Professional Practice 3.0 Credits
This course examines educator learning as a site of research across schools and community-based settings. Students engage with scholarship on teacher development, professional identity, and workplace learning, including models such as professional learning communities, coaching, and collaborative inquiry. Emphasis is placed on how organizational contexts, relationships, and policy environments shape educator practice. Students develop research questions and methodological approaches for studying educator learning and professional practice. The course prepares students to critically analyze and contribute to research on how educators grow and enact their work across contexts.
