EDU 8420 Community Partnerships and Educational Change 3.0 Credits
Sustained educational change often depends on relationships across schools, universities, families, and community organizations. This course examines how partnerships are formed, maintained, and studied in urban contexts. Students engage with research on collaboration, trust-building, shared leadership, and research-practice partnerships, with attention to measurable and lived outcomes for learners and communities. Emphasis is placed on evaluating partnership models, analyzing evidence of impact, and identifying conditions that support lasting change.
