EDU 8450 Innovation and Organizational Change in Education 3.0 Credits
Educational organizations are continually asked to adapt, improve, and respond to new challenges. This course examines how innovation emerges, spreads, and is sustained within schools, universities, nonprofits, and public systems. Students engage with research on organizational learning, change processes, leadership strategies, and implementation science. Attention is given to why reforms succeed, stall, or produce unintended consequences. Emphasis is placed on interpreting research outcomes, assessing evidence of organizational improvement, and designing studies that investigate change in educational settings.
