EDU 8850 Organizational Theory in Education 3.0 Credits
This course examines classic and contemporary organizational theories as applied to schools, universities, nonprofits, and public agencies. Students explore culture, decision-making, leadership, power, and institutional environments through empirical research. Emphasis is placed on interpreting research outcomes, comparing theoretical perspectives, and analyzing organizational performance and improvement. Students develop frameworks for conducting rigorous studies of educational organizations.
