EEDD 8400 Leading Self and Others: Systems Thinking and Adaptive Leadership 3.0 Credits
This course prepares leaders to navigate complex educational systems. Students apply systems thinking, adaptive leadership, and critical frameworks to analyze problems of practice and understand how organizational structures reproduce inequitable outcomes. Emphasis is placed on systems mapping, active listening, organizational dynamics, and collective sense-making, enabling leaders to diagnose root causes and respond effectively to uncertainty, ambiguity, and competing priorities.
