EEDD 8440 Transformational Leadership: Innovation, Design Thinking, and Equity-Centered Systems Change 3.0 Credits
This course focuses on leading transformational, equity-centered change through innovation and design thinking. Students explore creative strategies, research-informed solutions to complex problems of practice, and leading sustainable improvement efforts. Emphasis is placed on strategic change, continuous improvement, and impact evaluation, culminating in the integration of students’ scholarly-practitioner stance into leadership practice and dissertation work. Students gain the knowledge and skills necessary to apply systems thinking and put forth change across complex organizational settings.
