Provides a review of economic analysis, with emphasis on those phases of major interest to engineering administration. Covers the calculation of economic equivalence, inflation and the purchasing power of money, decision-making among alternatives, evaluation of public activities, and estimation of costs. Also, focuses on studies the features of accounting data essential to the interpretation and evaluation of engineering operations and financial position of the engineering enterprise. Analyzes financial statements and reports from the point of view of management.
