ENGL 3530 Queer Literatures and Cultures 3.0 Credits

This course explores the overlaps between literature and culture through a study of diverse queer experiences. It introduces students to key literary texts in the queer literary canon and core concepts from the field of gender and sexuality studies. The course will engage a range of genres and types of texts—from poetry, novels, films, and art—to help students develop skills in critical reading and analyses with an aim towards practical applications of knowledge in any chosen field of inquiry. Suitable for students from across the disciplines.
