ENTP 3375 Triple Bottom Line Entrepreneurship: Designing Impact Ventures 3.0 Credits
Students design market-based ventures that balance people, planet, and profit while navigating the ethical, strategic, and economic tensions inherent in impact-driven work. Using tools such as Theory of Change, Logic Models, and the Impact Business Model Canvas, they test assumptions, build credible measurement strategies, and connect purpose with measurable outcomes. Grounded in real-world challenges aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the course emphasizes applied learning and culminates in a venture plan and pitch that integrate ethics with execution and promote sustainable, equitable change. As an elective, it provides additional depth for interested students. Students will learn to apply key concepts, analyze real-world situations, and communicate evidence-based recommendations.
