ENTP 5540 Startup Business Models 3.0 Credits

This course explores how entrepreneurs design and implement business models that turn ideas into sustainable ventures. Students will examine legal and structural options—from C-Corps and S-Corps to Benefit Corporations and hybrids, while also analyzing business model types such as licensing, franchising, white-label/OEM, e-commerce, SaaS, freemium, and digital products. Through real-world cases and applied exercises, students will learn how technology, regulation, and culture shape modern entrepreneurship. By the end, they will be able to assess trade-offs, align models with mission and market, and create scalable frameworks for lasting impact.
