EOH 5003 Environmental and Occupational Health Policy 3.0 Credits

Students will map the federal statutory framework, reviewing how different pollutants and environments are handled. Students will consider the role of the judiciary, agency enforcement, advocacy, and the states in creating, shaping, and applying environmental health policy. The effects of principles of ethics and justice on the policy process will be explored. Although the focus is U.S. policy, international differences will be discussed.
