ESCI 3205 Technological Advancements and Integrations in Exercise Science 3.0 Credits

This course examines the evolution and application of technology in exercise science. Students explore how emerging technologies are used in the assessment, monitoring, and promotion of physical activity, fitness, and health. Topics include wearable devices, digital health tools, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and virtual reality applications used in exercise evaluation, performance monitoring, rehabilitation, and health promotion. Emphasis is placed on interpreting data and applying technology to support evidence-based exercise programming and engagement in physical activity.
