ESCI 3301 Exercise Testing and Prescription 3.0 Credits

This course covers the fundamental principles of exercise testing and prescription with an emphasis on health-related components of physical fitness that includes body composition, cardiorespiratory fitness, muscular strength and endurance, and flexibility. Students use these principles to develop appropriate exercise prescriptions for the apparently healthy adult. Laboratory experiences provide students with opportunities to apply the principles of exercise testing and prescription in health, fitness, and sport.
