ESCI 4006 Internship in Exercise Science I 3.0 Credits

This internship provides a supervised, immersive professional experience in an exercise science–related setting, emphasizing application of advanced knowledge and skills developed throughout the undergraduate curriculum. Students complete sustained fieldwork under the mentorship of qualified professionals while assuming increasing responsibility in program delivery, client interaction, data collection, and professional communication. The internship integrates scientific principles, ethical practice, and professional standards within real-world environments such as clinical exercise settings, strength and conditioning programs, wellness organizations, community health agencies, or allied health facilities.
