ESS 2010 Earth-Climate Systems 3.0 Credits
Students will examine local and global environmental change from an earth system science perspective. Important system science concepts explored will include equilibrium states, feed-back loops, tipping points, and geologic time. From a geological perspective, students will examine: natural and anthropogenic climate change; the atmosphere, oceans, and biota, studying weather and climate; extreme weather patterns; ecosystems, biodiversity, and beyond.
