FASH 5300 Fashion Drawing I: Exploring Fashion Form 3.0 Credits
This figure drawing course bridges observational drawing and fashion illustration, emphasizing proportion, rhythm, and expressive movement. Working from a live model, students use mixed media in black, white, and color to explore the structure and movement of the body and how clothing drapes and interacts with it. Through studying fashion illustrators and other artists, students experiment to develop their own distinctive, stylized approach.
