FASH 5609 Portfolio I: Visual Storytelling and Personal Branding 3.0 Credits

This course supports the continued development of each student’s personal design identity through the creation of a professional fashion portfolio. Students will refine their conceptual and visual communication skills while exploring market-specific design strategies and presentation formats. Emphasis is placed on both hand-drawn and digital illustration techniques, storytelling, and the integration of career development preparation. Students will develop a curated body of work that expresses their evolving design philosophy and aesthetic while preparing them for experiential learning opportunities, including internships, competitions, and professional growth. Critiques with industry professionals provide insight into brand identity, user context, and portfolio curation.
