FIN 2301 Introduction to Finance 3.0 Credits

This course introduces the core concepts of modern finance and develops the analytical skills needed for sound corporate and personal investment decisions. Students learn about the time value of money, cash flow estimation and project evaluation, the valuation of stocks and bonds, the relationship between risk and return, and the basics of important finance theory, such as portfolio diversification and the Capital Asset Pricing Model.
