FIN 2500 Financial Modeling 3.0 Credits

This course develops the skills to design and implement advanced Excel-based models for financial decision-making. Students learn to apply finance theory to build models for time value of money, stock and bond valuation, firm and equity valuation, cost of capital, and other applications. Emphasis is placed on constructing integrated financial statements and using tools such as pivot tables, solver, goal seek, and VBA to automate analysis. By the end of the course, students will be able to build robust models that support valuation, investment, and corporate finance decisions.
