FIN 3351 Financial Literacy 3.0 Credits
This course introduces the fundamentals of personal financial decision-making with an emphasis on achieving financial independence. Students learn how to budget, save, and apply the time value of money to everyday choices such as renting versus buying a home or leasing versus owning a car. Topics include credit cards, student loans, consumer purchases, insurance, and financial planning.
