FMST 350 Environmental Activism Through Film 3.0 Credits
Students will explore environmental issues from local concerns to global climate change through viewing and responding to films that are designed to entertain, inform, and advocate for taking action to address the climate and environmental crises. Students will preview films, participate in, and help moderate panel discussions, and design and implement survey instruments to assess film impact. The course capstone project will be an individual or group expression of activism in a creative medium with a public output.
