GSST 1003 Introduction to Queer and Trans Studies 3.0 Credits
Queer and trans studies are interdisciplinary fields that inform a wide range of cultural, academic, and artistic practices. This course introduces students to the developments of queer and trans studies as well as their core concepts, key issues, innovations, and methodologies. Students learn how to practice new skills in analysis, reading, and research in order to work collaboratively and critically intervene in their chosen fields of inquiry. Suitable for students from across disciplines.
