HIST 3860 Global Environmental History 3.0 Credits
This course studies the global history of the environment with a special emphasis on environmental factors in urban, political, economic, and social development and change. The course will explore such themes as history of environmental sciences, biographies of central figures, governmental research initiatives, the study of migration, biological evolution, popular movements, and transnational and global changes.
