HMP 650 Management of Healthcare Outcomes 3.0 Credits
This course is a data driven primer in the use of publicly available healthcare datasets from which to understand the management of clinical outcomes, psycho-social outcomes and economic outcomes. Students will determine profile settings and scenarios to explore the management of health outcomes from several perspectives: the patient, patient care and health systems. The course will also involve proposing interventions to address disparities that are consequential to organizational and governmental policies intended to achieve optimal health outcomes.
