HSAD 3360 Applied Healthcare Leadership 3.0 Credits
This unique and non-traditional course provides students with an opportunity to practice various leadership skills acquired in the Health Administration Program. The course is fully experiential. There are no lectures. Through a series of live actor simulations, students are placed in a realistic healthcare leadership environment where they function in teams to analyze and offer solutions for complex organizational issues. The course requires extensive peer collaboration, group work and independent study. The instructor guides the process through frequent group coaching and consultation sessions.
