HSAD 5505 Ethical and Legal Issues in Healthcare Mgt. and Policy 3.0 Credits
This course improves students’ understanding of the role of ethics and law in the practice and systems of healthcare in the United States. This includes some of the tools available to apply these concepts to improve the quality and availability of healthcare for patients, providers, institutions, and communities. Ethics and law permeate all of healthcare administration commonly faced by healthcare managers, using problem-based learning to promote decisions that enhance patient care.
