HSCI 1102 Anatomy and Physiology II 4.0 Credits
Anatomy and Physiology II is a continuation of Anatomy and Physiology I and focuses on the structure and function of the human body at the organ system level. Topics include the cardiovascular, lymphatic and immune, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems, with an emphasis on physiological mechanisms and the integration of body systems in maintaining homeostasis. Through integrated lecture and laboratory experiences, students build on foundational anatomical and physiological concepts and apply them to normal function and selected clinical contexts. This course further prepares students for advanced coursework and professional programs in the health sciences and related fields.
