HSCI 3010 Introduction to Research Methods 3.0 Credits
This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the principles and practices underlying health-related research. Topics to be covered include the protection of human subjects, scientific misconduct, developing research questions, conducting literature searches, research designs, qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods, critical appraisal of the health literature, and evidence-based practice.
