IDPS 2010 [WI] Emotional Intelligence for Professional Success 3.0 Credits
This course examines emotional intelligence as a critical factor in effective communication, leadership, and workplace success. Students explore self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and interpersonal effectiveness, with particular attention to how these dimensions shape collaboration and professional relationships. Emphasis is placed on applying emotional intelligence in workplace and leadership contexts and on understanding the continued importance of human judgment, empathy, and relationship-building in an increasingly technology- and AI-influenced professional landscape.
