IDPS 3470 Inclusive Workplaces, Perspectives, and Team Effectiveness 3.0 Credits
This course explores how inclusive workplace practices, varied perspectives, and interpersonal dynamics influence team performance and organizational culture. Students examine workplace interaction and collaboration through multiple lenses, including gender, race, culture, generation, ability, and other dimensions that shape professional experience. Using reflection, case analysis, and applied scenarios, students assess organizational practices and develop the skills needed to engage effectively across difference. Emphasis is placed on fostering belonging, strengthening team effectiveness, and applying inclusive practices in support of professional and organizational success.
