Demographic changes, technology, globalization, the COVID-19 pandemic, and other environmental factors have prompted employers to consider diversity and inclusion beyond demographic composition and representation. Furthermore, as multigenerational employees’ expectations evolve, leaders and managers within organizations are expected to tend to their teams’ needs and lead in ways that enhance the bottom line. As such, it is important to create inclusive environments that promote sense of belonging and foster innovation and productivity among teams. Work environments in which everyone can leverage their unique talents to achieve organizational goals.
