INTR 3103 Interior Studio III 4.0 Credits
This course introduces the integration of interior design with base-building systems, codes, and existing architectural conditions in a large scale interior environment. Students work within real or adaptive reuse contexts, addressing structural constraints, envelope considerations, egress and life-safety requirements, vertical circulation and environmental comfort systems. Projects involve complex programs with layered spatial zones, materials and fixtures, and technical detailing. The studio emphasizes research, iterative design development, and coordination between conceptual, technical, and representational methods.
