INTR 5401 History of Architecture and Interiors 3.0 Credits
This survey course aims to foster an historically informed understanding of global built environments by examining the history of architecture and interiors from the prehistoric era through the early twenty-first century. Students will develop vocabulary for discussing the built environment; an understanding of how various factors affect design; and a familiarity with names, movements, and buildings that are part of historical development. This lecture class may include written exams and short essay assignments.
