IPS 541 Health and Behavioral Care Planning and Intervention for Children and Adolescents 3.0 Credits
This course will provide an overview of the range of treatments for ASD and pharmacotherapy for symptom managements of the pediatric population across the lifespan. A family-centered approach to care is emphasized to develop an understanding of an interprofessional approach to management of the range of functional problems and core features across the lifespan. Students will explore ways to integrate concepts of ASD care with their professional practice across a variety of service settings for pediatric patients and their families.
