LLS 7005 Effective Practices for Equipping Implementation and Literacy Teams to Increase Student Proficiency 3.0 Credits
This course connects to the previous course and prepares leaders to design, implement, and evaluate comprehensive, evidence-based professional development (PD) systems that build and sustain teacher, staff and leader competencies in Structured Literacy (SL). Leaders will also learn to create, support, and utilize linked implementation teams at classroom, school, and district levels to determine the appropriate action steps to match the current stage of implementation. Emphasis is placed on implementation science, adult learning theory, organizational change, and data-based decision making.
