LLS 8231 Superintendent Internship I: Instructional Systems, Governance, and Human Capital 1.0 Credit
This field-based internship develops candidates’ capacity to lead districtwide instructional systems while navigating governance, human capital, and legal frameworks. Under the supervision of a certified superintendent or central office leader, candidates engage in authentic leadership experiences including curriculum oversight, data analysis, principal supervision, labor relations, and board governance. Emphasis is placed on ethical leadership, equity, special education compliance, and the use of data and AI tools to improve teaching, learning, and organizational performance.
