MATH 2902 Matrix and Differential Systems II 3.0 Credits

Advanced topics linear algebra and ordinary differential equations aimed at Engineering students. Linear algebra topics covered include: abstract vector spaces, linear dependence, change of basis, factorization theorems. Differential Equations topics covered include: high order systems, nonlinear systems, Hamiltonian systems, variation of parameters formulas, boundary value problems, existence and uniqueness theorems. Applications drawn from STEM fields are emphasized.
