MATH 3601 Ordinary Differential Equations II 3.0 Credits
Continuation of Ordinary Differential Equations I, with emphasis on qualitative and advanced analytical methods for ordinary differential equations. Topics include: higher-order linear equations, boundary value problems, Sturm–Liouville theory, series solutions and special functions, nonlinear systems, bifurcation theory, limit cycles, and an introduction to chaos. Applications from physics, engineering, and the natural sciences are emphasized throughout.
Repeat Status: Not repeatable for credit
