MATH 3603 Partial Differential Equations 3.0 Credits
Introduction to the basic concepts and solution techniques for the standard partial differential equations of mathematical physics, especially transport, wave, heat and Laplace equations. Methods used include: separation of variables, Fourier series, Fourier transform, characteristics and potential theory.
