MATH 6822 Statistical Theory 3.0 Credits
Covers foundational and modern topics in statistical theory, with emphasis on the mathematical principles underlying estimation, testing, uncertainty quantification, and statistical modeling. Topics include likelihood-based inference, confidence sets, asymptotic theory, decision-theoretic and Bayesian perspectives, minimax risk, resampling methods, and selected topics in nonparametric, high-dimensional, dependent data, and time series inference.
Repeat Status: Not repeatable for credit
