This course is designed to teach students essential strategies and techniques in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Genetics, with a goal of preparing students to understand the techniques used in modern primary literature and their own research. The course is structured around a combination of readings, lectures, individual exercises and small group exercises in a problem-oriented fashion. The course will emphasize practical applications of applied Molecular and Cellular Biology and Genetics, including experimental design and choice of techniques.
