MEM 3510 Mechatronics 3.0 Credits
This course introduces the fundamental principles of mechatronics for the analysis, design, and implementation of integrated engineering systems. Students apply a system-level engineering approach to develop solutions that integrate sensors, electronic circuits, microcontrollers, and electromagnetic actuators with appropriate driver electronics. Emphasis is placed on experiential learning through hands-on laboratory activities that reinforce theoretical concepts and develop skills in experimentation, data interpretation, and problem solving. By the end of the course, students will be able to design, build, and program functional mechatronic systems that meet specified requirements, with applications in robotics and modern manufacturing.
Repeat Status: Not repeatable for credit
