MEM 5870 Foundations of Robotics Dynamics and Control 3.0 Credits
This course introduces the fundamental concepts of modeling, dynamics, and control for robotic and autonomous systems. Topics include rigid-body kinematics and dynamics, equations of motion, dynamic response of mechanical systems, coordinate transformations, state-space representations, stability analysis, feedback control, trajectory generation and tracking, and motion control of robotic systems. The course also covers modeling and control of manipulators, mobile robots, and autonomous systems, with emphasis on integrating system dynamics and control design for robotics applications.
Repeat Status: Not repeatable for credit
