MEM 6930 Aircraft Flight Dynamics and Control 3.0 Credits
This course introduces the foundations of aircraft flight dynamics through the development of dynamic models and linearized equations of motion. Topics include aerodynamic coefficients, control derivatives, longitudinal and lateral dynamic modes, and open‑loop stability analysis. Additionally, with a review of undergraduate controls material, this course covers classical and modern control of aircraft.
