MEM 7201 Compressible Fluid Dynamics 3.0 Credits
This course reviews one‑dimensional flows and covers steady compressible‑fluid flow along with two‑ and three‑dimensional subsonic, transonic, supersonic, and hypersonic regimes. Topics include normal and oblique shock waves, wave reflections, oblique‑shock interactions and vorticity generation, compressible boundary‑layer behavior, and shock–boundary‑layer interactions.
