MEM 7336 Theory of Nonlinear Control 3.0 Credits
This course introduces the foundations of nonlinear dynamical systems and feedback control. Topics include stability, controllability, and observability of nonlinear systems; exact linearization, decoupling, and stabilization by smooth feedback; zero dynamics; parameter‑dependent systems with basic bifurcation and stability concepts; tracking and limit cycles in feedback systems; selected perturbation methods; and introductory high‑gain and discontinuous feedback, including sliding modes. Applications are emphasized throughout.
Repeat Status: Not repeatable for credit
