MEM 7549 Application of Non-Thermal Plasmas 3.0 Credits
This course introduces applications of modern non‑thermal plasma processes used in materials synthesis, material treatment, fuel conversion, environmental control, chemistry, biology, and medicine. Topics include non‑equilibrium thermodynamics and the fluid dynamics of cold‑temperature plasma processes, along with the engineering organization of major non‑thermal plasma technologies. Emphasis is placed on how non‑thermal plasmas enable advanced industrial and scientific applications.
