MET 300 Principles of Engineering Design 4.0 Credits

This course is designed to introduce students to the concepts of engineering design. Students will develop a thorough understanding of the design process through collaboratively thinking. This course will allow students to apply iterative design process in creating a new product while integrating the marketing, design, and manufacturing functions of the firm. Students will explore design challenges and employ the product design and development process to design a product to meet the challenge.
